The smash occurred on the A832, at Gairloch, at about 7.35pm. Police, fire crews, and paramedics were called to the scene. Ten firefighters, from the local station, used cutting gear to free the driver from their car. They were subsequently taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with “non life-threatening” injuries.
