She was involved in an accident on the A897 road just north of Helmsdale at about 9.25am. A police spokesman confirmed that the woman had transferred to to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by air ambulance. She is not believed to be seriously injured. A fire service spokesman said that they been notified of the accident but were only involved in making the scene safe.
