Firefighters battled through the night to tackle a blaze at a derelict Highland hotel.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed they were called to the incident at the property in Ardgay shortly after 10.50pm last night and remained on the scene until 2.50am this morning.
Crews from Bonar Bridge, Dornoch, Lairg and two appliances from Inverness were all called to the scene.
The building suffered extensive damage as four main jets battled to contain the flames.
Speaking last night, a fire and rescue spokeswoman told the Press and Journal: “Fire crews are currently attending a fire at a derelict hotel in Ardgay, near Bonar Bridge.
“We were called at around 10.50pm and appliances have attended from Bonar Bridge and Dornoch.”
A police spokeswoman also confirmed they were in attendance at the scene.
