A9 open again after accidents close road in two places

The A9 is fully open again after it was closed in two sections due to separate vehicle crashes.

A multi-car crash caused the closure of the main road southbound near Drumossie Brae, a mile south of Inverness.

The A9 was also closed in both directions near Carrbridge after a two car crash.

The accidents coincided with heavy fog shrouding the A9 this morning, with the area around Inverness worst affected.
