Ferry operator CalMac is seeking to appoint a service provider to deliver an adequate ferry booking and ticket solution for its vast network across Scottish islands.
The ferry company, which operates 33 ferries and 53 ports, harbours and slipways, is looking for a proven software solution to make booking and travelling with Cal Mac as easy as possible for customers.
The four-year contract, worth in the region of £3million, is currently being advertised through Public Contracts Scotland.
CalMac’s managing director, Robbie Drummond said the investment would “help us manage deck space more efficiently” and “enable us to communicate better during periods of weather disruption.”
A closing date of Friday, November 8 has been set.
