A section of the A9 has partially reopened after a fuel tanker collided with the barrier.
The tanker was travelling southbound on the Inverness to Perth trunk road before careering into the barrier, shortly after 12.30pm.
Police were called to the scene south of Daviot after the alarm was raised at 12.40pm.
A police spokesman said: “Police weer called around 12.40pm today following reports of one vehicle crash where a fuel tanker has collided with the barrier on the A9 southbound near Daviot.”
One-lane of the A9 has now reopened as officers continue to recover the vehicle
The occupant of the vehicle is not believed to have been injured in the crash.
