Firefighters were called earlier today to the railway line near Stromeferry following reports of a car on the track.
A call was received by fire control at 11.45am with crews from Lochcarron, Kyle of Lochalsh and Portree tasked to the incident off the A890 Strathcarron to Auchtertyre road at Ardnarff.
A fire spokeswoman has said only one vehicle has been involved with no reports of any persons trapped.
Only the Kyle of Lochalsh crew attended with small gear in use to “make the vehicle safe” before departing at 12.32pm.
Crews from Lochcarron and Portree were turned back as they were not required.

ScotRail have said due to an “obstruction on the line” between Stromeferry and Attadale, services between Inverness and Kyle of Lochalsh may be cancelled or revised.
Recovery of the vehicle has been arranged with vehicles understood to be able to pass the obstruction.
