Police and fire crews are investigating following a fire beside a guest house in Oban.
The fire took hold at the rear of Glendene, Glencruitten Road, on Tuesday night.
A 999 call was made at 10.35pm and two crews from Oban Fire Station arrived within four minutes, but the fire had been extinguished when they arrived.
A special fire service investigation unit and police officers from Oban CID were at the property today.
Detective Sergeant Keith Philip said: “There is damage to garden furniture and fencing at the rear of the premises.
“Police are carrying out inquiries with the fire investigation unit to establish the cause of the fire.
“No-one was injured.”
A fire service spokesman added: “We were called to an incident at 10.35pm on Tuesday. Two appliances from Oban Fire Station were sent in response to a 999 call which reported a fire within a house.
“The crews arrived to find all people were accounted for and no fire fighting operation was required.
“Officers from our fire investigation unit are in attendance and will work closely with police.”
