The Rest and Be Thankful in Argyll reopened at 7.30am today.
But road contractors will continue monitoring the landslide prone site this week because of forecasts for further bad weather.
The A83 Tarbet to Campeltown road was closed last week following a massive landslide at the hill pass during torrential rain.
The Old Military Road local diversion route has been in operation, with the exception of a two-hour period on Saturday night when it was flooded.
A spokesman for road maintenance company Bear Scotland said: “Monitoring of the hillside and weather conditions will continue throughout today and traffic will be transferred back to the Old Military Road if there is any detection of movement, or should any adverse weather raise concern.
“Subject to reports from site, a decision will be made later today on whether or not the A83 can remain open outside of daylight hours.”
