The A9 remains shut between Kingussie and Aviemore while emergency services deal with the aftermath of the accident. One person has reportedly died in a two-lorry crash on the A9 Police, fire and ambulance are at the scene, a mile north of Kingussie. The road is between the Lynwilg junction, Aviemore, and its northern junction with the B9152 at Kingussie.
