A9 closed after crash between car and motorbike

The A9 Inverness-Thurso road is shut in Caithness after a crash.

A motorbike and a car are involved in the accident at Dunbeath, near the junction with the A99 road to Wick.

Police said that a man had fallen off the bike but it was too early to give information about his injuries.

Traffic Scotland says that the route is closed in both directions and police are in attendance.
