Picture credit: Cairngorms National Park Facebook It’s looking very white in the north of Scotland this weekend after the first snow of the year fell in the Cairngorms. Forecasters had predicted a wintry weekend in some parts of the country and snow fell overnight on Friday with the white stuff lying above 2,460ft. Cairngorms National Park posted a picture as proof on their Facebook page – which has received thousands of shares and likes. Reports have also come in of snow lying on the Lecht. More snow is expected over Saturday night and Sunday. Is there snow near you? Send your pictures in to webpix@ajl.co.uk
