The accident happened at a roundabout close to the Sainsbury’s supermarket on the east side of the town, at about 2.35pm. A police spokeswoman said that paramedics attended to check over an elderly women, but added that her injuries were “not thought to be serious”. Two fire appliances from Nairn were also called to the scene but no cutting gear was used. The police spokeswoman added that traffic was able to pass through following the accident.
