Police have issued advice ahead of an Old Firm visit to Inverness this weekend.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle will host Celtic on Sunday afternoon in the league.
More than 5,000 spectators are expected to attend the game, including many Celtic fans travelling from the Central Belt.
Traffic is expected to be busy in the area around the Caledonian Stadium and the city is also expected to be busy with supporters.
Inverness area commander Chief Inspector Ian Graham is leading the policing of the event is urging everyone to enjoy the game but to do so safely – before, during and after the match
Ch Insp Graham said: “We are expecting a big crowd so I would ask people to arrive in plenty of time and be aware stewards and police officers will be present throughout to ensure supporters of all ages can enjoy the match in a safe environment.”
“We will hopefully see over 5,000 supporters attending the game and I want to remind all fans that no alcohol is allowed within the stadium and anyone found to be drunk and trying to enter the ground will be committing a criminal offence.”
“On Sunday there will be increased traffic and demand for parking across the city.
“Drivers are reminded delays are to be expected around the stadium area between 1.30pm and 6pm so please plan ahead if you’re travelling on Sunday afternoon. Pedestrians will be crossing at the stadium so please take care and follow all instructions from officers and staff.”

The match is the first visit by the reigning champions to the Highland capital this season and their first under former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
It is also Celtic’s first match since their midweek 7-0 demolition at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League group stage.
Richie Foran’s Caley Jags are seeking to continue their improved form after a 1-1 draw away to Aberdeen last weekend.
