Inverness High School was closed today to S1, S2 and S3 pupils after a pupil was hurt when a window fell in a classroom.
It is understood that the boy, who was an S4 pupil, required treatment after standing on glass yesterday.
The windows are being checked today, requiring the three year groups to have the day off.
John Rutter, the school’s head teacher, said: “Following an incident at the school yesterday, a pupil was taken to Raigmore Hospital and received treatment at the accident and emergency unit.”
The school remains open today to S4, S5 and S6 pupils.
