A new appeal has been made by police after the theft of kit from a Highland League football club.
Thieves raided the Grant Street Park home of Clachnacuddin FC sometime between 12pm and 4pm on Sunday, October 2.
They made off with several items, including training tops and strips, which were removed from the changing rooms at the Inverness club.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area on Sunday afternoon to make contact via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.”
The kit was used by Clach’s junior sides, and some of the missing items have been recovered near the ground.
Earlier this week club chairman Alex Chisholm said that no damage had been caused but said they may now discuss ways of improving security at the stadium.
