A 33-year-old Inverness man has been fined £400 after admitting behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards his ex partner after she was late for a planned meeting involving their child.
Krzysztof Partyka, of Aird Avenue, pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing and struggling with Danita Sawicka outside the McDonald’s restaurant in the city’s High Street on February 24.
Fiscal depute David Morton told Inverness Sheriff Court that when Partyka approached his former partner he told her “you better watch out next time you are late, you will see”.
Mr Morton added: “He struggled with his former partner and during the process of struggling pulled on her jumper.”
Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood said: “There is no excuse for behaviour like this in a public street.”
