Police have issued a second appeal for witnesses to come forward after a woman was assaulted in Inverness.
The incident occurred between 2am and 3.30am on Wednesday, September 7 in the Scourguie area of the city.
The minor assault took place within a vehicle, believed to be a dark saloon car. The woman wasn’t injured and the male driver is described as being in his forties and of Eastern European appearance.
It is believed the woman walked around the Scorguie Avenue and Scorguie Drive area for a period of time after the incident and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the vehicle or the woman in the area in the early hours of Wednesday morning to get in touch.
