Two Inverness teenagers who were reported missing have been traced safe and well.
Police issued an appeal for sightings after becoming concerned for the wellbeing and safety of the two girls.
Zoe Walton, 14, and Orla Begg, 14, were last seen in the Eastgate Shopping Centre at around 1pm yesterday.
The pair, who are from Ross-shire, were seen boarding a train to Aberdeen at Inverness Railway Station.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm that Orla Begg and Zoe Walton, who were reported missing from Ross-shire yesterday, have been traced safe and well in Aberdeen.
“Many thanks to members of the public and the media for assisting.”
