Police are trying to trace a man seen running away from a car that was on fire in Inverness.
The silver Audi A4 TDI 2lt was found on fire in the city’s Clava Road at around 1.30am on Monday.
Police issued an appeal for information earlier this week. Today they revealed that following inquiries it has “been established” that a man was seen walking towards the car just prior to the fire and then spotted running away from it after it was alight.
Officers are appealing for anybody who has information about this man or the fire to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
