She spent the second half of last year being passed over when it came to getting a new owner.
But Scotland’s animal welfare charity is hoping that 2017 is the year that Roxi finds her new forever home.
The Scottish SPCA is seeking a new home for Roxi, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who has been at the Inverness Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre for over seven months.
Centre manager Elaine Floyd said: “Sadly Roxi has been with us for over seven months without finding her new forever home.
“She’s your typical chatty, excitable staffie girl who just wants to play.
“She didn’t have the best start in life so would benefit from an owner who is patient and willing to go back to basics with her training.
“While we’re very fond of having Roxi here, it would be wonderful if 2017 proved to be the year she found her new forever home.”

at teh end of last year, the SSPCA in Inverness appealed to animal lovers in the area to look after some of the guinea pigs in its care.
Staff at the Inshes centre were looking after 35 guinea pigs, most only a few weeks old.
They also became a temporary home for a piglet that was found running wild on a busy motorway.
The SSPCA was alerted after a lorry driver spotted the commercial Landrace piglet on the A90 towards the Forth Road Bridge in December.
