A Highland food ambassador is to host a cooking masterclass in support of a cancer charity.
Lady Claire Macdonald will deliver helpful hints and tips at Millburn Academy on Thursday, March 9.
She will be passing on her expertise in aid Marie Curie Highland.
The event is being organised by Highland dueo Kareen McHardy and David Ross who are undertaking a trek in Costa Rica later in the year in support of the charity.
Ms McHardy said: “We are delighted that Lady Claire is happy to support us in this way.
“Her evenings are not only informative but great fun too.
“We have stalls showcasing some of the best of local produce before and after the demonstration, so a great opportunity for some shopping too.”
The evening will start at 7pm with tickets available from Curves Inverness or direct from the charity, priced at £12.50.
Lady Claire is the owner of Skye’s Michelin-starred Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant with her husband Lord Godfrey, chief of the Clan Donald.
She is a self-taught cook and originally hails from Lancashire.
The P&J columnist is regarded as one of the first cooks from Scotland to highlight the benefits of using local produce.
She has been a long-standing supporter of Marie Curie which helps provide hands-on care and support to patients living with a terminal illness.
