Ian Sutherland has been reported missing from Inverness
A 51-year-old man has been reported missing from his home in Inverness.
Ian Sutherland, who lives in the Hilton area, was last seen on Tomatin Road at about 11pm last night.
He has failed to make contact with friends or family since and police have said concern is growing for his welfare.
Officers are making inquiries in Inverness and also in Ross-shire, where Mr Sutherland is knbown to have connections.
He is described as being 6ft tall and slim build, with shaved short grey hair.
When last seen he was wearing a black or dark grey North Face fleece, navy jeans and blue sketchers trainers.
A police spokeswoman said: “Concern is increasing for Mr Sutherland’s welfare and officers would urge anyone who sees a man of his description or has any information on his whereabouts to make contact with police via 101.”
