A small dinghy drifting free on Loch Ness has been recovered by a lifeboat crew.
The blue and white boat was spotted by a member of the public drifting near Altsigh.
The Loch Ness lifeboat was launched and after it was established that no people were involved the craft was towed to Foyers where it was pulled ashore and secure.
A spokesman for the coastguard confirmed it appeared that the rope securing the dinghy had failed.
He added that they were liaising with police to find the boat’s owner.
