It comes after two youngsters used suspected fake £50 notes to pay for low-priced items in a city shop. The incident happened at the Co-op in Wester Inshes at about 5pm on Wednesday, April 5. The two youngsters separately bought items worth no more than £5 and paid with Bank of England marked £50 notes. One of the boys is described as being about 12, of slim build and standing about 5ft 3in. He had short brown hair and was wearing a dark grey jacket and jeans. The second is thought to be about 15 or 16 and also of slim build. He had short brown hair and was wearing a grey Adidas fleece jacket. A police spokesman said: “If anyone has any information regarding these males or any similar incidents then please contact Police Scotland on 101.”
