Increased parking permit charges have come into force in Inverness and Lochaber.
Highland Council agreed an increase of 10% on charges in this year’s budget.
The price increase affects all council parking permits and season parking tickets in Inverness and Lochaber, including contract bays at the Rose Street multistorey in the Highland capital.
Permits affected include resident permits, senior citizens permit, business permits and contract parking.
Disabled badge holders continue to receive their residents parking free of charge.
The parking increase is part of a package of measures which the council hope will cut £334,000 out of their budget deficit.
