Police in Inverness are appealing for members of the public to come forward following a vandalism spree in the Dalneigh area last night.
Officers received numerous reports of car wing mirrors and window wipers being ripped off, with over 91 vehicles believed to have been damaged.
Reports of the vandalism have been received from the Telford Gardens, Telford Street and Skinner Court area so far.
Inverness Inspector James Rice said: “We are asking the public in the Dalneigh area to check their vehicles for any damage that could have been caused overnight and for them to report it to us.
“A 42 year old man is currently detained and is assisting us with our enquiries. If anyone saw anything suspicious overnight between Monday 24 April and Tuesday 25 April I would urge them to contact us.”
