Emergency services attend three car crash on A96 near Nairn

Emergency services are attending a three car crash on a busy north road near Nairn.

The accident happened on the A96 Inverness-Nairn road, two miles west of Nairn, at about 3.15pm.

A police spokesman said that the road is now closed and a diversion has been put in place via the Delnies turn-off and Balblair Road.

He added that an ambulance has been called to the scene.

Three fire appliances – two from Nairn and one from Forres – have been called to the scene.

Details of injuries are unknown at this time.
