Fire extinguishers stolen from Highland caravan park

Police have branded the theft of fire extinguishers from a north caravan park a “dangerous act”.
The four items were removed sometime between Tuesday, August 29 and Thursday, August 31 from the Parkdean Holiday Park in Nairn.
On Friday, September 1 a further five fire extinguishers were found to have been removed, with one being set off and then the empty canister discarded.
Inspector Mike Middlehurst said: “This dangerous act has placed residents of the park at risk and we are pursuing lines of enquiry with the onsite security.
“Any person who may have information as to who is responsible for these actions is urged to contact us through our non-emergency number 101, quoting reference NM6097/17 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
