Police dealt with an incident in an Inverness-shire village yesterday which it is understood involved a man carrying a knife.
A member of staff in the Inverness control room confirmed they were called to an incident in Kirkhill which “was dealt with”, adding that “there was no threat to the public.”
They were unable to confirm local reports of a man carrying a knife and could not provide any more information.
Kirkhill is a village located nearby Beauly and about eight miles west of Inverness.
