Police are appealing for information after thieves attempted to break into a house in Inverness early yesterday.
The culprits ran off after disturbing the householder while trying to gain entry to the home on the city’s Darris Road at around 1.30am.
They were seen running empty-handed from the scene in the direction of Torbreck Road.
The men are both described as being around 5ft 10in in height, of stocky build and wearing dark clothing.
Officers are appealing for information into the incident and are also urging residents to take steps to keep their properties secure at all times. Anyone with information is asked to called police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
