Two Inverness youths sparked a rescue mission by emergency service yesterday after making their way on to the roof of a church.
One youth was quickly located by police and brought down safely from the city’s East Church. However the second youth could not be traced.
A full-scale search was conducted before the second youth was traced safe and well having made his own way off the building.
Police were called to the incident on Academy Street just after 12.20pm, but later requested assistance from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to search the surrounding roofs.
Academy Street was closed for a short period to accommodate the search.
One youth has been charged following the incident.
