Police issued an appeal for help to the public but have since confirmed he has been traced. They said: “We can confirm that Jack MacPherson, 7, who was reported missing in Inverness earlier this afternoon has been traced safe and well. “Thank you to everyone who helped by sharing our earlier appeal.”
