Three men aged 36, 37 and 38-years-old from the Liverpool area have been charged in connection with an alleged theft from the Tesco supermarket at Inshes in Inverness.
A quantity of alcohol valued in high three figures was taken from the shop shortly after 2.30pm on Tuesday.
Inquiries are ongoing and officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white Ford Transit van which was seen in the area at the time.
Inspector Alasdair Macleod said: “We are grateful to the staff at the supermarket and members of the public who assisted with this inquiry.”
The men are anticipated to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.
