Picture by Andrew Smith. Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a bus at a busy Inverness junction. The accident happened at 12.43pm in Sir Walter Scott Drive, close to the Brewers Fayre restaurant and the slip road to merge on to the A9. One lane of the road is closed and there is serious disruption to traffic in the area. Two fire appliances from Inverness were sent to the scene. The two people are not thought to be seriously injured. A fire service spokesman said: “Two passengers, both of who were in the car, have now been transported to hospital. “We left at 1pm.”
