Police Scotland have confirmed that three men have been charged in connection with “bogus caller” incidents in the Inverness area.
The men, aged 27, 24 and 15, have been reported after a number of incidents in the Holm area earlier this week.
They will appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in due course.
Constable Craig McGhee said: “We are grateful to the members of the public who provided information which has helped with our enquiries.
“I would again urge the community to be wary of cold callers offering goods or services and to be sure of who you are dealing with before agreeing to any work.”
Anyone with concerns can contact Police Scotland on 101. If you wish to remain anonymous please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
