Police have recovered drugs with a street value of around £32,000 from a property in Inverness.
Officers recovered quantities of heroin, cocaine and herbal cannabis from the home in Towerhill Crescent in the city’s Cradlehall area this morning.
A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery and is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective inspector Peter Mackenzie said: “This is yet another example of our commitment to tackle the supply of drugs to the Highlands and Islands.
“Our message to drug dealers is that we will continue to pro-actively target those from outwith the Highlands, who come into our area and supply highly addictive illegal drugs to vulnerable people which has a devastating effect on people’s lives and causes misery in our communities.”
He added: “We rely on the support of the public in supplying us with information to disrupt the supply of drugs and bring those responsible to justice.
“If you have information which can help us in the fight against drugs, please call police on 101.”
