Police in Inverness are appealing for information after two 12-year-old boys were assaulted in the city. It happened at around 7.30pm on Friday in the Culduthel Avenue area. Neither of the boys were seriously injured. Officers are keen to speak to a man, who was seen in the Culduthel Mains Court area, in connection with the incident. He is described as a white male with a tanned complexion, aged late 30s to early 40s, 6ft tall, slim build with broad shoulders and a foreign accent. He had short dark hair and light stubble and was wearing a black woolly jumper, dark trousers and dark trainers. Anyone with information on this man is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
