A Highland builder has died suddenly following an incident at his home in Inverness.
A Police Scotland spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances into the death of the 57-year-old, named locally as Iain Urquhart, at the property on Old Edinburgh Road on Sunday.
It is understood he was found under a partially collapsed wall.
The police spokesman said: “Police attended the sudden death of a 57-year-old man at a property on Old Edinburgh Road in Inverness on the afternoon of Sunday, March 11.
“Initial enquiries reveal there were no other persons involved and there are no suspicious circumstances.
“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.”
A woman who answered the door at Mr Urquhart’s home yesterday was too upset to comment.
