Fire crews sent to Inverness city centre over risk of falling masonry

Emergency services were called to Inverness city centre after several blocks of masonry from a building became loose.

The fire service received a call at 11.50am and sent two appliances to Caledonia House in Academy Street to make the structure safe.

The road was closed between Chapel Street and Queensgate but re-opened after 12.45pm once the loose masonry was secured.
