Motorists have been told to expect delays in Inverness next week due to scaffolding being dismantled.
One lane of Castle Street will be closed off for six days from next Monday, to allow contractors to remove dismantled scaffolding and builders’ materials.
Highland Council anticipate that the works will be completed and the road re-opened by Saturday evening at the latest.
The scaffolding was put in place in late January to allow essential work to be carried out to make the premises safe. Highland Council had served a Dangerous Buildings Notice on the building owners.
Alternative through routes are available via the West Link or Friars Bridge.
