Two women have been struck by falling debris blown from a building in the centre of Inverness.
Emergency services were called to the incident by the Auctioneers pub in the city’s Church Street, at about 12.30pm this afternoon.
A police spokesman said their injuries do not appear to be serious and that Highland Council workers are assisting to make the building safe.
Church Street is currently closed to traffic.
A fire service spokeswoman said the debris has “blown off” the roof of a building but the type of debris is unknown at this stage. One appliance from Inverness is in attendance along with an aerial platform.
