Billy Ocean has been forced to cancel his latest appearance in the Highlands. The Trinidadian-English pop singer was due to take to the Inverness Leisure stage last night but has pulled out because of a throat infection. In a Facebook post, event promoter Live in the City said work is underway to reschedule the gig. It said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances Billy’s appearance in Inverness has been cancelled due to a throat infection. “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. “We will keep you updated to a reschedule date. “We will make a further announcement in the next 48 hours.”
