Police have named a man who died in a crash on the A9 earlier this month as 72-year-old Inverness man Mervyn Bowden.
Mr Bowden was the front-seat passenger of a Mercedes E Class vehicle that was in collision with an HGV, which was parked in a layby at the time, on the A9 at around 12.50pm on June 12.
Police and emergency services attended, however Mr Bowden was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Inspector Andrew Thomson from Forth Valley’s Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts continue to be with Mr Bowden’s friends and family at this very difficult time.
“Our inquiries into the collision are ongoing and we ask anyone who may have witnessed what happened, and has not yet spoken to officers, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information can contact the road policing unit at Stirling via 101.
