The fire service received their first call at 8.12am to reports of a tractor on fire near the Tore roundabout. Two appliances were dispatched to the scene from Inverness and Dingwall, with one hose reel jet used to extinguish the blaze. The fire was extinguished around 8.31am. Meanwhile, in Culloden the alarm was raised to a small fire at Culloden Woods. Firefighters from Inverness arrived on scene to dampen down the fire using one hose reel jet. No-one is believed to have been injured as a result of these fires.
