Police are making a further appeal for information following a fatal crash on the A835 last month.
The incident happened shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday June 24 on the A835 between Tarvie and Garve.
Lachlan Brown, 21, from the Killen area on the Black Isle died in Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the incident.
He was the driver of a blue Volkswagen Bora which was involved in a collision with a green/white Peugeot Boxer van.
Inquiries are ongoing into the incident and road policing officers have made a further appeal to the public for information which help the investigation.
Sergeant Gregor Hay said: “Mr Brown’s vehicle was travelling west at the time of the collision and we are asking anyone who believes they saw his vehicle to get in touch.
“We believe a white Volkswagen Scirocco was also travelling west at around the same time. This vehicle was not involved in the collision but we would ask anyone who believes they saw this vehicle to also get in touch.
“Our thoughts remain with Mr Brown’s family and friends while we work to establish the full circumstances of this collision.
“Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police should call the Road Policing Unit in Dingwall on 101, quoting incident NE4323/18”.
