One Highlands and Islands MSP will travel over 2,000 miles as he undertakes a “summer surgery tour” to meet constituents and businesses.
Conservative Edward Mountain will travel the length and breadth of a constituency that is larger than Israel.
Alongside meeting voters, Mr Mountain will also be engaged in collecting signatories for a petition.
He hopes to gather enough support to persuade NHS Highland and the Scottish Government to resolve the long running parking problems at Raigmore Hospital.
The car park is plagued by people parking there who work nearby and not in the hospital, reducing parking for staff and those visiting patients.
Mr Mountain said: “During this summer tour, I will be collecting signatures for a petition in support of the Raigmore Parking Campaign.
“A solution to the current problems is possible and I intend to find one. If you want to sign the petition, I urge you to attend one of my surgeries.”
Mr Mountain said: “I have over 60 surgeries planned for the summer and my 2,000-mile journey will begin in Strathpeffer before making the stunning journey up the west coast to Ullapool, Lochinver and Kinlochbervie.
“Then I will then head across the rugged coastline to Scrabster and John O’Groats, before travelling down the east coast through the villages of Lybster, Helmsdale, and Brora.”
Also on the itinerary are visits to Badenoch and Strathspey, the Isle of Skye and the Black Isle, Tongue, Thurso, Wick, Brora, Inverness and Nairn.
Mr Mountain added: “I relish the opportunity to meet with constituents, listen to their views and take positive action on their behalf.”
