Drugs with a combined street value of around £3,000 have been recovered in Inverness.
Crack cocaine and heroin were recovered following a search of a vehicle in the Waterloo Place area by officers from the Flexible Policing Team on Tuesday.
A 35-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery and is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Sutherland said: “We are committed to tackling crime involving the supply of drugs in the Highlands and this recovery is the latest example of that work.
“We rely on the support of the public to help us take action to disrupt the drug trade.
“I would urge anyone with concerns or information about drugs to contact police on 101.”
