Police Scotland have launched an appeal for information following an incident where a man is reported to have behaved indecently in an Inverness cafe.
The incident occurred in Inverness city centre, in the area of the Archie Café on the ground floor of the Eastgate Centre around 11.45am yesterday.
The man, described as being in his 60s or 70s, was said to be wearing a green military style jacket with stripes on the arm. He is described as slim, of average height and having straggly greying hair.
Constable Jim Boundy, of the City Centre Policing Team, said: “Incidents such as this are very rare in Inverness and I would reassure people that we are taking this extremely seriously.
“The area was busy at the time and we would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man or believes they may have seen him.
“We are particularly keen to speak to two older women who interacted with the man in the Archie Café
