Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man in Inverness.
Gavin Grant was taken to Raigmore Hospital after police were called to a property in the Craigard Terrace area of the city shortly before 6.45pm on Saturday.
The 32-year-old died in hospital yesterday.
Detective Inspector Eddie Ross said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Grant’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“His death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“A police presence will be maintained in the area while the investigation continues and the local community is thanked for their patience and understanding as these inquiries continue.”
